After the hearing, Bhola was sent back to the central jail of Patiala where he spent the night. Mumbai police took Bhola's custody in a case filed against him in Mumbai.

Talking to media before boarding the train, Bhola demanded a CBI probe in the drug scam case. "There are many more involved in the case who are being shielded by the police. Actual truth will come to the fore only after a CBI probe," he said.

Pertinently, the Punjab and Haryana high court is already hearing a petition demanding CBI probe in the Bhola drug racket case. Meanwhile, on Friday, Punjab and Haryana high court granted bail to the three family members of Jagdish Bhola, including his wife Gurpreet Kaur, father-in-law Dalip Singh and mother-in-law Amarjeet Kaur.
