The court of chief judicial magistrate Raman Kumar on Wednesday sent murder accused assistant superintendent of Sangrur central jail Bohad Singh in two-day police custody.
Meanwhile, the police have recovered the revolver used in committing the crime by the accused.

The accused in a an inebriated condition had allegedly shot dead a manager of a tavern near the inter-state bus terminus in Bathinda on Tuesday after the manager had denied to provide him liquor on credit.
Before shooting the manager, the drunk accused had tried to shoot two other tavern employees but failed as the revolver did not fire on both occasions.
