Museum dedicated to Baba Farid to set up

The Baba Farid Society has decided to set up a museum at Tilla Baba Farid here to make the present generation aware about the historical importance of the city and life of Baba Farid, a sufi saint.

"The society is constructing a museum about the historical and religious importance of the city in connection with Baba Farid. The pictures of historical importance of the sufi saint, many remarkable documents sent to the society from Pakpatan and Rajabpur in Pakistan, old coins, letters besides other items would be on display in the museum," said Mahipinder Singh Sekhon, the caretaker of the society.
