Nobody knows where Navjot Singh Sidhu will go after now quitting the Rajya Sabha but one door is open.
Asked if her party would want the ex-MP, Congress’ Punjab affairs in-charge Asha Kumari said on Friday here that: “He is still to quit the BJP and we don’t know what he is going to do next. The Congress doors are open to all, certainly.”

She was with reporters after paying obeisance at the Golden Temple to seek an auspicious start to the Congress district-level campaign. “After nine years unspectacular years, the ruling Akali-BJP combine is ready to be voted out,” she said. “Let (deputy chief minister) Sukhbir Singh Badal disagree. Come elections and the people of Punjab will show him.”

There was hardly any governance in Punjab in these nine years but a lot of drug menace, farmers’ issues, and unemployment, she says, giving a “minus score” to the government.
She also demanded action against Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann for his “exposing Parliament security” in an online video.
