In his report sent to director local bodies, NC executive officer Varinder Jain said that in their replies to his notice, the 13 members of the trust have claimed that the civic body was never in possession of the land in which the dera is situated.

The trustees have also claimed that the NC wrongly got sanctioned a mutation in its favour after a government notification. Their replies said that previously in 1982-83, when the NC had tried to occupy this land, whole Valmiki community and employees had observed a strike.

In response, the NC had decided to leave this land for the welfare of Valmiki community, the trustees claimed. The trustees claimed that the SDM-cum--collector by his order number 11,112 sanctioned mutation of possession of land bearing khasra numbers 406, 407 and 410 in the favour of Valmiki community.

The reply also made the claim that the NC had issued notices only to the Valmiki community, where as other communities have encroached public land and constructed religious places on them. Replies said that there was no mention of any land in trust document, which had been registered.

The replies alleged that the NC resolution on the trust was wrong and had not been approved by the local government deputy director. They said that trust's office is not constructed on 33 kanal 7 marlas land but on other land.
The report by the EO also mentioned that the

Mohalla Rishi Nagar residents Yash Pal's complaint was for taking legal action against trust members. He added that the report would soon be put up before the NC house.
