The chief minister was interacting with mediapersons on the sidelines of a Sangat Darshan programme in Talwandi Sabo assembly constituency here on Saturday. He said that the people-friendly policies and programmes of the state government could be realised in a true spirit, as now with the induction of the NDA government at the Centre, it could be much easier for Punjab to have the union government’s full support and cooperation in all respects.

Referring to his recent New Delhi visit during which he had raised the issues of utmost importance pertaining to agriculture diversification, power generation, industrial and economic growth of the state besides the prestigious programme of river cleaning and many other issues with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other union ministers, Badal said that he had high hopes that all the issues would be resolved soon and Punjab would regain its glory as a front-runner state in the country.

He addressed the people in villages of Tang rali, Tiona Pujarian, Sangat Khurad, Ram Tirath Jagga, Bhagwanpura, Shekhupura, Lelewala, Nath and Chethewala.
