Developers want to build a new Sikh religious center in Beavercreek. City council will hear a proposal to build the 3,200-square-foot religious centre on a two-acre plot near the intersection of Factory Road and Richmar Drive, which the city’s planning commission recommended at a recent meeting.

City council will hear a proposal to build the 3,200-square-foot religious centre on a two-acre plot near the intersection of Factory Road and Richmar Drive, which the city’s planning commission recommended at a recent meeting.

The project would mean new construction in the Greene County city.

The project, termed the Sikh Religious Centre of Dayton, has been proposed by Dr Daljeet Singh, a medical oncologist who practices out of Springfield, according to city documents.

The land is currently vacant, and the new religious centre would have 96 seats, 32 parking spaces, and room for expansion.
