No move for night landing facility at Kullu airport
There is no proposal to install night landing equipment at the Kullu airport in Himachal Pradesh, chief minister Virbhadra Singh informed the assembly on Thursday. "The government is considering expansion of the airstrip at Bhuntar (near Kullu), but there is no proposal to provide night landing facility there," he said in a written reply.

There is no proposal to install night landing equipment at the Kullu airport in Himachal Pradesh, chief minister Virbhadra Singh informed the assembly on Thursday.
"The government is considering expansion of the airstrip at Bhuntar (near Kullu), but there is no proposal to provide night landing facility there," he said in a written reply.
The CM said IIT Roorkee has conducted a report relating to its expansion. "The government is reviewing the report," he added.
Kullu airport is connected to Delhi by regular flights.
Shimla's table-top airport, located 2,196 metres above the sea level has been closed since September 2012.
