Haryana finance department has issued orders that no bills would be accepted at treasury during the last three working days of financial year and treasuries would only dispose of the pending bills during these days. In exceptional cases, permission from the finance department would be required.
Issuing instructions to various departments regarding re-appropriation or diversion of fund request and submitting of bills in treasury in March 2014, the department said that bills pertaining to TA, LTC, arrears, wages and salary would not be accepted after March 20.
Such bills need to be presented at treasury on or before the said date.
Only those bills that are submitted before the above-mentioned and are rejected can resubmitted by March 25 after corrections and after ensuring that budget is available online, a department spokesman said.
Similarly, bills of advances other than medical, TA and GPF will not be accepted after February 28. Detailed contingency bills related to such advances should be submitted to the treasury within one month or by March 25, whichever is earlier, the spokesperson said.
