Notification for Dasuya assembly seat by-poll on June 16
Notification for the July 11 by-election for Dasuya assembly constituency in Punjab would be issued on Saturday. The seat fell vacant following the demise of BJP MLA Amarjit Singh Sahi on June 3.

Notification for the July 11 by-election for Dasuya assembly constituency in Punjab would be issued on Saturday. The seat fell vacant following the demise of BJP MLA Amarjit Singh Sahi on June 3.
Announcing the schedule, the state election commission said that the last date for filing of nominations is June 23 whereas scrutiny will take place on June 25.
The last date for withdrawal of candidature is June 27 and the polling will be held on July 11. Counting of votes will take place on July 14, the commission said.
