Obscene video makers’ gang busted in Nabha

The police claimed to have busted a six- member gang of sex video blackmailers with the arrest of two of its members at Nabha on Friday. The other four members, including three women, of the gang are on the run.

The police claimed to have busted a six- member gang of sex video blackmailers with the arrest of two of its members at Nabha on Friday. The other four members, including three women, of the gang are on the run.


As per the police, accused Jatinder Singh and his wife Jasveer Kaur were leading the gang, in which three women and three men were involved. The women gang members used to first attract rich mene and then make sex videos with the help of other members to blackmail the victims to extract money from them. Male members act as fake policemen.


Reacting on the complaints of a victim, the police officials raided a place on a tip-off and held Bikran Singh and Jatinder Singh and seized mobile phones having sex video clips. Other members Jasbir Kaur along with three other members managed to escape from the trap of police.

Dharam Dev, station house officer at Nabha Kotwali police station, said that a case has been registered under sections 384, 385, 388 of the Indian Penal Code and both the accused were produced in the court on Saturday morning, and they were sent in two-day remand for further investigation.
