One held for harassing woman

The Gurdaspur sadar police have arrested Ranjit Singh alias Darshi for harassing a woman from Kothe Behrampur in Gurdaspur. SSP Sukhwant Singh Gill said the victim had complained through the Punjab police helpline alleging that that she was being teased by the accused.

The accused was booked under sections 351 and 506 of the IPC and had been sent to the Gurdaspur central jail.
