The counter-intelligence wing of the police nabbed the accused, who were waiting to deliver the consignment to their associates.
Inspector Gurinder Singh said 2.5 kg heroin, two pistols, a swift Car, a motorbike and cartridges have been recovered. The two Pakistani smugglers had entered India from Ajnala sector.
The counter intelligence wing is interrogating the two accused to know about their associates and activities in India. The police are also trying to ascertain how these smugglers managed to sneak in despite high vigil along the border.
