Punjab revenue and public relations minister Bikram Singh Majithia, on Sunday, said a few political parties are trying to disturb peace and communal harmony in the state for political gains.
Majithia, while disbursing Rs 1-crore grant for development works in Sran, Chananke, Ramdiwali Musalmana and Chogawan villages told mediapersons that the Congress and the AAP were playing a dirty game on national security.
“While the whole world is facing the threat of terrorism, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has led from the front by supporting our armed forces to counter terrorism. Modi is being applauded by the whole world for counter-terrorism steps taken by the armed forces,” said Majithia.
He also said that the SAD-BJP alliance was all set to form government for the third consecutive term in the state on the development agenda, whereas opponents are playing cheap politics to create a rift among various sections of the society.
He asserted that Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh’s mission 2017 was a sinking ship as his own partymen are eager to remove him from the post of president of the party.
