An official spokesperson said that when reports of disturbances were reported from village Thaurwa in Patran, the deputy commissioner and SSP immediately instructed the DSP of Patran HS Gill to reach the spot.

The DSP has reportedly controlled the situation. The son of Congress candidate has been injured in the scuffle.
