Preneet is leading a high-powered 22-member CII business delegation to these two African countries.

She signed three pacts with the Rwanda foreign minister and also said that the economic engagement between the two countries has always been strong and during the recent years it has been growing steadily. The Indian Government has offered a support of 80 billion dollars for a hydroelectric project on Nyabarongo River, which has been progressing well.

She also met the agriculture minister of Rwanda who showed keen interest to intensify the agricultural cooperation between the two countries.

During her interaction with the Indian community at Kigali in Rwanda, Preneet appreciated their efforts in strengthening the bilateral relationship.
