Guru Nanak Dev University vice-chancellor Prof AS Brar appointed Prof MS Hundal, a professor of the department of chemistry and dean, college development council, as the dean, academic affairs of the university. Hundal will also hold the charge of coordinator, EDUSAT till March 31, 2014.
The terms of dean, students' welfare Prof PK Sehajpal, Prof RK Mahajan, professor incharge (examinations), Prof Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, professor incharge (finance development), Prof Amarjit Singh Sidhu, professor incharge (publication bureau), Prof BS Bajwa, director (hospitality), and Dr Mohan Kumar, reader, Academic Staff College, have been extended up to March 31, 2014.
Similarly, Dr Rajinderjit Kaur Pawar will be the new dean, College Development Council till further orders. She will also hold the charge of incharge, constituent colleges and regional campuses in Sathiala and Fatthu Dhinga and director, department of lifelong learning (additional charge), till further orders.
Similarly, the term of Dr Sandeep Sood has been extended as associate dean, academic affairs at the University Regional Campus, Gurdaspur. Prof MS Sangha has been appointed as associate dean, academic affairs, at the University Regional Campus, Jalandhar till March 31, 2014.
