An official spokesperson of the personnel department said the state government had written to all departments for information on the Group-A, -B, -C and -D vacancies. The details sought include group, cadre name, total sanctioned posts, vacant posts, and the reason why the post is vacant. The government wants details submitted on a prescribed pro forma along with a copy of the departmental rules to director of social security and women’s and child development within seven days.

If any department has no vacant post under the handicapped category, it has to communicate that on a duly attested document.
