“Cheema is a doctor who is now the education teacher. He now wants to be a teacher. He must tell us the address of the school, where we he will hold the class for SAD, BJP workers and MLAs,” Mittal told mediapersons on Wednesday.

“The language used by Cheema, also a spokesman for his party, shows that they (SAD leaders) do not want to continue their alliance with the BJP,” Mittal claimed.

He alleged that SAD has taken the support of Congress municipal councillors in the Anandpur Sahib council too.

Mittal added Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal must clarify if they endorsed
Cheema’s views.

“The Badals must clarify whether they intend to take the support of Congress in the 2017 assembly elections, so that I can also take up the matter with his party high command.”

When contacted, Cheema said, “I have said what I wanted to say. I do not want to join issue with Mittal. However, Mittal’s negative role during the election of the president Rupnagar council has been brought to the notice of the party leadership.”
