Badal, who was on a two-day visit of Talwandi Sabo assembly constituency to hold sangat darshan programmes in various villages, told mediapersons that besides demanding review of the special facilities granted to neighboring states, it would also ask for a special package for the state's industrial sector.

Badal said the NDA government at the Centre was only three-month-old and was busy putting the nation back on the development path, where the Congress had miserably failed," he said.

Badal said there was an urgent need to set up skill development centers so that youngsters are imparted vocational skills and turn out to be industry-ready professionals. He called upon youngsters to become entrepreneurs by venturing into dairy and allied sectors that also generate employment for others.
