As scheduled the play Jis Lahore nahi vekeya oh jameya nahi was staged here by Rangmanch Rang Nagri which enthraled several spectators.

Directed by 34-year-old Jagjit Singh, it painted various moral values and inspired the audience at the end that one religion is as good as the other and nothing is above humanity.

The story takes the audience back to the days of partition and is set in Lahore where an aged Hindu lady is left behind in Pakistan and shows the struggle faced by her in those days. Her principles of life and her values remained successful in touching the hearts of the audience but the odds that she faced rolled down tears from many eyes.
