Chauhan, who is known as Hans Raj Haquiqi in the Dera Sacha Sauda where he used to work as a musician, was provided police security after he filed the petition against Ram Rahim in the Punjab and Haryana high court in 2012.

Talking to HT, Chauhan said, "Two police personnel - ASI Dalbir Singh and constable Jagjit Singh - have been deputed in my security by the Haryana Police. The duo, especially constable Jagjit Singh, intentionally create hindrance in my functioning due to which I was forced to resign from my two jobs at Tohana".

Currently, Chauhan runs his own music academy at Tohana town in Fatehabad district.

He said he had complained to the police about the matter and it was referred to Fatehabad SP Sangeeta Kalia, who promised to probe into it.

Notably, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had lodged an FIR against the dera chief in the castration case following court directions.

Meanwhile, Tohana deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Kushal Pal claimed that he had no information about any such complaint. "I recently had a telephonic conversation with Hans Raj Chauhan and he did not speak of any such matter", he said.
