Yoga guru Ramdev has said that ten thousand gyms would be opened throughout Haryana to promote yoga in the state.

"One thousand such yoga gymnasia will be established this year in Haryana," he said, after inaugurating a newly established Patanjali Dispensary-cum-Service Centre in zila parishad complex at Narnaul yesterday.

These gymnasia would develop positive thinking among youths in the state and immunise them from day-to-day ailments as well, said Ramdev who is Haryana's brand ambassador for promotion of yoga and Ayurveda.

He also said that a university would be set up in Haryana which will be controlled by his Haridwar-based Patanjali Yogpeeth.

Delhi: From a granary to creative business street

For the uninitiated, Dhan Mill Compound, a former granary and a cluster of warehouses, has morphed into the city’s modish food, fashion, design and lifestyle destination. Its streets are lined with art cafes, home décor outlets, ateliers, art galleries, pottery studios, dance halls and high-end boutiques, whose facades and interiors are as interesting and experimental as the wares they deal in. Interestingly, all of these fancy establishments are housed in re-purposed warehouse buildings, which still have metal roofs.
