Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and his team will impart yoga training to several judges of the Punjab and Haryana high court, besides MLAs, MPs and the top brass of the state government at Panchkula on Monday and Tuesday.

The camp will be held at the cricket stadium, Tau Devi Lal sports complex, Sector 3, Panchkula, from 5am onwards.

Haryana health minister Anil Vij told HT that all the judges, MPs, MLAs and top officials were invited earlier this week and that they had expressed their willingness to take part in the event. "MPs and MLAs were keener to learn about yoga, for, it will be who will be supposed to spread the word about yoga in the days to come," Vij added.

The two-day camp is being organised in the run-up to about `1.75-crore June 21 Yoga Day event at Karnal, which would also be conducted by Baba Ramdev, who is the state's brand ambassador brand ambassador for yoga.

The state-level Karnal event is expected to witness 21,000 yoga performers, while the smaller ones at district levels will have around 2,100 performers taking part.

Anand has also asked the officers to prepare a time frame for the arrest of the criminals.

He also warned of strict action against police officers found involved in corrupt practices.
