Rs 1.5 lakh snatched from commission agent in Jaitu

Two motorcycle-borne unidentified people allegedly snatched Rs 1.5 lakh from Karan Kocchar, a commission agent in Jaitu. The incident took place near the civil hospital and the Hukam Chand street when he was coming back to his shop on a bike after withdrawing cash from a branch of the HDFC Bank.

The accused rammed their motorcycle into his bike and made him fall off the vehicle. In the meantime, one of them grabbed the bag and the fled soon after. The accused were allegedly driving a black Splendor plus motorcycle. The police have registered a case against unidentified persons in this regard. In October last, an accountant of a commission agent was also robbed of Rs 16 lakh from at spot and the accused are still untraced.
