Electronic appliances worth Rs 7 lakh were stolen from an electronics shop near Kala Sangha Road on intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
The police said thieves entered the shop by opening the shutter with gas cutter.

Ajay Suri, the shop owner, said he closed his shop on Monday night. When he came to the shop on Tuesday morning, several electronic items were found missing from the shop.
He said thieves had stolen 10 LCDs, seven LEDs, five fans, two induction cookers and five DVDs from the shop. The police have registered a case under various sections of the IPC against unknown persons.
