The STP inaugurated by the speaker would be able to process water, which would be used for agricultural purposes. It was stated by Attwal that a large amount of funds have been spent on rural areas and the residents of these areas have shown their trust on Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD).

He said water from 4-5 villages around Malaud would be benefited with the treatment plant.
“90% of water, which would be processed, would be used for agricultural practices,” said Atwal.
He said a similar STP would also be installed at Doraha soon so that the residents of those areas could be benefited.

Atwal also assured that the community centre at Malaud would also be upgraded so that the residents of the area could avail its services.
