Sarpanch killed in road accident at Sangrur
Sarpanch of Chandon village of Moonak sub-division of the district Mewa Ram died in a road accident near Moonak on Monday.

Sarpanch of Chandon village of Moonak sub-division of the district Mewa Ram died in a road accident near Moonak on Monday.
Moonak police station in-charge Baldev Singh said that the accident took place when a truck hit the motorcycle of Mewa Ram, who was going to Moonak from his village.
The police have rounded up the driver of the truck Rajinder Kumar of Moonak. He said that the driver has been booked under section 304 A of the IPC and the body has been handed over to the family, added the SHO.
