Known to usher in harsh weather, June this year has brought along sporadic rain that has caused the mercury to fall by several notches across the state.

Sizzling at over 40° C a few days ago, Una got maximum relief from the rain which brought down the day temperature to 31° C.

Similarly, Shimla also witnessed a dip in the maximum temperature from 28° C to 21° C in the span of past six days.

Other areas where temperature saw a dip included Nahan at 29.3° C, Sundernagar at 28.8° C, Dharamsala at 26.8° C, Bhuntar near Kullu at 25.5° C and Kalpa at 18.6° C.
