Schools in Punjab switch to winter timings

The state education department has notified the new winter timings in all government, aided and recognised schools with effect from October 1, 2015.

According to an official spokesman, the primary schools would open at 9 am till 3 pm whereas for the timings for middle, high and senior secondary school is 9 am to 3:20pm.

Instructions in this regard have been issued to all schools and offices of education department for strict compliance.
