Leader of Opposition in Punjab assembly Sukhpal Singh Khaira has invited local bodies minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is sulking over being ignored in Amritsar mayoral polls, to join the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

While talking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, Khaira said Sidhu is right in raising his voice.
He said Sidhu first raised his voice over the alleged role of Bikram Singh Majithia in the drug racket in the state and submitted a memorandum to the party high command. “Thereafter, he raised voice against the cable mafia and also demanded inquiry into corruption of Akali leaders.”
However,CM Amarinder ignored these issues as his family is hand in gloves with the Badal family, Khaira alleged.
He said Amarinder is not ready to tolerate any person in the Congress with independent views.
He said all the like-minded people, including Sidhu, should come on one platform to save the state.
