Victim Jaspreet Kaur’s uncle Angrej Singh told the police that the accused -- Yadwinder Singh and his parents Dilbag Singh and Sukhwinder Kaur -- used to thrash her for dowry. The 27-year-old woman allegedly consumed poison on May 28. She was admitted to a local hospital, where she breathed her last on Wednesday. No arrest has been made so far.
