There is more dissent in BJP than Cong: Rajinder Kaur Bhattal

Former Punjab chief minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal on Saturday said the people of Punjab were fed up of the SAD-BJP government and they wanted to replace it by a Congress government.Speaking on the occasion of bhog of Ajit Singh Hansaliwale here, Bhattal said apart from making statements, Congress leaders need to counter the Akali-BJP alliance.

Agreeing that there is “little dissent” between some of the Congress leaders, she said: “There are more disputes between the BJP and the Akalis and going by their differences and tones, there will be a big flare-up between them in days to come. In Congress, the dispute between Partap Sing Bajwa and Captain Amarinder Singh will be solved by them, and senior party leaders will decide who is more eligible to be state Congress chief.”

Patiala MLA Preneet Kaur declined to comment on the issue, saying she was there only to pay tributes to Baba Ajit Singh.
