The samples of pie, sambar, wheat flour and grams were collected from Rakh Bagh area, samples of pulses and grams were collected from Hambran Road and from New Sabji Mandi area, papaya and banana samples were taken. Samples of chocolate, grams, pulses and soft drinks were also collected from Pakhowal Road. These were collected by a team of food safety officers Ravinderpal Garg, Manoj Khosla, Harpreet Kaur and Yogesh Goyal.

DHO Abnash Kumar said the samples were sent to the food laboratory in Chandigarh, and action would be initiated as per rules, after getting the reports.
