Twenty year old labourer found hanging in Sadar Nagar

A 20-year-old labourer allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his room in Sardar Nagar on late Friday night.

A 20-year-old labourer allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his room in Sardar Nagar on late Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Sudarshan Kumar. He worked as a labourer in a hosiery factory in Sardar Nagar and lived in a room on the factory premises. His two elder brothers, who also work in the same factory, were away to Uttar Pradesh for the past 20 days.

It was the deceased's colleagues who spotted him hanging when they returned to work on Friday morning. They sounded the police who reached the spot and started investigation. On contacting the deceased's family, the police got to know that he had spoken to them over phone before taking the extreme step.
