Two-day flower show at PAU from Feb 25

The department of floriculture and landscaping of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is all set to hold 'MS Randhawa Memorial Flower Show and Competition' near the examination hall of the College of Agriculture, PAU, on February 25 and 26.

The department of floriculture and landscaping of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is all set to hold 'MS Randhawa Memorial Flower Show and Competition' near the examination hall of the College of Agriculture, PAU, on February 25 and 26.

The show will be organised in collaboration with the Estate Organisation and the department of family resource management, PAU. PAU vice-chancellor Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon will inaugurate the show on February 25.

Head of the floriculture and landscaping department Premjit Singh said there would be nine different classes of fresh/dry flower arrangements, seasonal flowers, foliage plants, cacti, succulents, ferns and bonsai in the competition.

He added that the competition will be open to individuals, private institutions, amateurs, government and semi-government institutions, and nurseries.

The flower show will be open for general public and prize distribution function will be held on February 26 at 3pm.
