Two persons were killed while two others sustained injuries after a car collided with a truck on the National Highway-1 late on Wednesday night.
Manish Kumar and his sister-in-law Ritu died on the spot, while the latter’s husband Kushal Singh and the car driver received multiple injuries, police said.
The victims hailed from Sandheer village.
Police said the truck driver allegedly applied sudden brakes causing the car to ram into it.
Police have filed a case and launched a manhunt for the truck driver who has absconded.
