Hooda was addressing a gathering during the mass contact programme in favour of Congress candidate from Rohtak Lok Sabha constituency, Deepender Singh Hooda, in villages namely Gadhi-Sampla, Gandhra, Dataur, Atayal, Pakasma, Rudki, Kiloi, Bhalodth, Bohar, Kheri-Sadh, Sunariya, Garnawathi, Kakrana, Sudana, Kahanaur, Gadhi-Balam, Anwail, Kalanaur and Basana.

While describing the Congress party a symbol of development and good governance, Hooda said that Congress had always worked for uniting the people rather than to dividing them. He claimed that Congress was the only political party in the country which always took along all sections of society. In Haryana also, the state government had worked for the development of all areas and all sections of society without any discrimination, he said.

While criticizing the BJP-HJC alliance and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), he said, "The fathers of loot, corruption and hooliganism were in the election field by changing their masks. But the people have identified their real faces. These parties neither have any policy nor intention to serve the people."
