High drama prevailed outside Barbeque Nation restaurant in Sector 26 after a group of youths slapped a girl following an argument with her cousin who was accompanying her on Wednesday night.
The police have registered a DDR in the matter, even as the victim girl has refused to lodge a complaint in this regard. According to police, the complainant in the matter, Jatinder Kumar, a resident of Sector 38, stated that he was with his cousin sister at the restaurant when a group of 3-4 youths, who had come there in a Toyota Fortuner SUV (PB-11T-2273) entered into a spat with him over a minor issue.
He alleged that the slapped him as well as his cousin. Meanwhile, the police have recorded the statement of the complainant and summoned the owner of the SUV.
