Allu Arjun begins shooting for Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ

In an official statement, the makers of Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ have confirmed that Arjun has joined the sets. The film also stars Pooja Hegde.

Actor Allu Arjun on Friday joined the sets of upcoming Telugu entertainer Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ for regular shooting.

The film, which is being directed by Harish Shankar, stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. In an official statement, the makers confirmed Arjun has joined the sets.

“1st day of shooting after a long gap! Been waiting for this. Good to be back,” Arjun wrote on his Twitter page on Friday.

Produced by Dil Raju, the project marks the reunion of Arjun and the producer after seven years. Their last outing together was 2008 Telugu drama Parugu.

Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose music.
