Baahubali 2 in IMAX will enhance hugeness, spirit: SS Rajamouli

SS Rajamouli has said that watching Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in IMAX will enhance the overall scale and spirit of the film. The film releases on April 28 and will finally answer why Kattappa killed Baahubali.

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli on Tuesday said the decision to release Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in IMAX format worldwide on April 28 will enhance the overall scale and spirit of the film.

Baahubali 2 will retain much of the grandeur of Baahubali: The Beginning but will focus more on emotions.

“One of the reasons Baahubali franchise got the attention of the viewers is, the scale and grandeur with which we designed and created each part,” Rajamouli tweeted.

He said that he is very excited that Baahubali 2 will be released in IMAX format.

“It will enhance the hugeness (scale) and spirit of Baahubali’,” he said.

Starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati as warring brothers fighting for an ancient kingdom, Baahubali 2 will finally shed light on why the character Kattappa killed Baahubali.

Technically, Baahubali 2 is superior to its predecessor, Baahubali: The Beginning.

The film also features Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan.
