Speaking to reporters here after handing over a cheque of Rs 10 lakhs to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa towards Cyclone Thane Relief Fund, Rajnikanth said the shooting of the film, Kochadaiyaan, would start very soon.

Rajnikanth termed his meeting with Jayalalithaa a courtesy call.

According to a state government release here, a total of Rs 28.4 crore has been received in the cyclone relief fund.
