Jackson Durai teaser: Look out for a sinister Sathyaraj

The first-look teaser of Tamil horror comedy Jackson Durai is out. The 37-second teaser introduces the two principle characters, played by veteran actor Sathyaraj and Sibiraj. The former appears as a ghost in this Dharanidharan-directed horror flick.

The teaser opens with Sibiraj and comedian Karunakaran in a prison, one insisting he has seen a ghost with the other rubbishing it. Just then, Sathyaraj's character, a beedi-smoking ghost with his lackeys (how do you like that!) appears and walks towards the two inmates. Creating a spooky maze, the film's canvas suddenly has a creeper and smoke.

And how does a ghost get to smoking a beedi is beyond imagination. But this is a horror comedy in mainstream film and everything goes. A word of appreciation for Sathyaraj though -- after playing the dutiful Kattappa in SS Rajamouli's Baahubali, the talented actor does look menacing as ghost in this teaser.
