'I stand with Sunita'

Recently, Govinda’s nephew Krushna Abhishek’s wife Kashmera Shah lost her temper when she was asked about Govinda and Sunita’s relationship. The actor asked the paparazzi not to ask questions about people who are not together. She also had no qualms about picking sides as she openly expressed her support for Sunita.

Speaking to the paparazzi, Kashmera said, "Woh meri family hai aur main apni family ko protect karungi. Main apni family ki auraton ke saath khadi hoon. Agar likhna hai, samajhna hai toh yeh samjho ki main Sunita ke saath khadi hoon. Aaj tak unhone kabhi awaaz uthayi hai? Kabhi kaha hai ki yeh galat hai voh galat hai? Aaj bol rahi hai na toh hoga kuch galat,” (That is my family and I will protect them. I stand with the women in my family. If you want to write or understand anything, understand this: I stand with Ssunita. Has she ever raised her voice before? Has she ever said that something is wrong? She is speaking up today, so there must be something wrong)."

Meanwhile, Krushna also asked the paparazzi to avoid questioning their family and let matters of family remain in family.

What is the tiff between Sunita and Govinda?

The recent controversy reportedly began after Govinda was spotted with his co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar. Later, while speaking to the paparazzi, Sunita called him Komal’s 'Sugar daddy'. The comment did not go down well with Govinda, who subsequently made multiple statements against Sunita and asked her to 'stay in her limits.'

Later, Sunita was spotted at the family court in Mumbai. Speaking to Rakhi Sawant, Sunita claimed that she had gone to court to withdraw her old divorce petition as she believed Govinda and Komal were planning to get married.

In an interview with India Today, Govinda’s manager expressed shock over Sunita’s claims and said, “I am hearing this from you. Aisa kuch nahi hai aur nahi hoga. Koi doosri shaadi nahi ho rahi (There's nothing like this, nor will it happen. There's no second marriage happening). She is his wife, and there must be something going on in her mind that she made those claims.”
