The first look of the Jyothika-starrer Nachiyaar was revealed on Tuesday. The film, which also stars GV Prakash, is directed by veteran Tamil director Bala.
Sharing the first look poster, Jyothika’s actor husband Suriya wrote: Jo you’re always blessed and deserve the best!! Can’t be more happier to tweet First Look of Bala Anna’s #Naachiaar.
The poster shows Jyothika, engrossed in trying to break or bend what looks like a wire. With one hand, heavily-bandaged, and the other hand, wrapped in a crepe bandage, Jyothika looks combative. She wears a shirt, cap and a scarf round her neck.
Jyothika, who took a sabbatical after getting married to Suriya in 2006, is making a comeback with a vengeance. After the successful return with 36 Vayadhinile (2015), the actor has two more films in her kitty -- Nachiyar and Magalir Mattum, the latter being her husband’s production.

Director Bala is known to be close to Suriya, having given the actor his first major solo hit, 2001’s Nandha. Bala’s 2003 film Pithamagan too was another landmark in Suriya’s career.
