Sai Pallavi on a roll, starts shooting for films with Suriya and Dhanush
Maari 2 is directed by Balaji Mohan starring Dhanush, while Suriya 36 is directed by Selvaraghavan.
Sai Pallavi is flying high after her successful debut in the Telugu film industry. Now, she is set to rule Kollywood and two of her projects are on the floors now. Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead opposite Dhanush in Maari 2 and Suriya in the upcoming Selvaraghavan directorial.
Dhanush took to his Twitter page to announce the beginning of the shoot and wrote, “With all your blessings and love #maari2 shoot starts FROM TODAY @directormbalaji @Sai_Pallavi92 @ttovino @thisisysr @Actor_Krishna @omdop.” This film will introduce Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas in a dark role. Balaji Mohan, who helmed Maari, will also be directing this film and Yuvan Shankar was brought on board to score music for the project.
Sai Pallavi’s other project is Dhanush’s brother Selvaraghavan’s directorial. Another interesting fact about this project is that Yuvan will also be scoring music for this. Producer SR Prabhu, who is bankrolling the project under Dream Warrior Pictures banner, took to his Twitter page to announce the beginning of work on this project. He wrote, “#roollliiinnggSir!! @Suriya_offl @selvaraghavan #Suriya36 #S36Diwali2018.”
In the meanwhile, Sai Pallavi is looking forward to the release of her debut Tamil film, Karu. Directed by Vijay, this is a bilingual movie bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
