The ongoing Maha Pushkaralu festival had a celebrity devotee on Wednesday. Actor-politician Chiranjeevi took a holy dip in the Godavari river. He was accompanied by his father-in-law Allu Aravind and nephew Allu Sirish.
"It was a peaceful visit to the Pushkaralu. A small ritual was performed after Chiranjeevi and his family members took a dip," said a source.
Lakhs of pilgrims have taken the holy dip so far at the Pushkaralu, a festival dedicated to worshipping of rivers.

Chiranjeevi will soon start working on his 150th film, which will be helmed by filmmaker Puri Jagannadh.
