Albert Camus aptly captured the spirit of friendship in this quote. A friend is someone who is always there with you. He shares your laughs, he wipes your tears, he pats your back on your highs and supports you through your lows.

I am fortunate enough to have a very good friend. He is always there for me. From sharing secrets to watching movies together, from sharing meals to going out for evening walks together, my friend is with me always when I need him. When I come back late from my night shifts, my friend ensures that I have reached home safely. When I am angry after a tiff with someone, my friend witnesses my frustration. When I am feeling low and lonely, he lends me a sympathetic ear and when I am erupting with joy we celebrate together. I can speak to him at any time of the day, and he never complains. When I am crying, he cuddles me, when I am happy he laughs with me. Life is so colourful with him.
