MUMBAI: Goregaon FC scored a narrow 1-0 win over Miners FC in a First Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the St Xavier’s ground, Parel on Saturday.
The highlight of the Goregaon outfit’s slender victory was striker Siddharth Kushvalia, who struck the all-important winner in the 35th minute to help his team clinch all the three points.
