Beckham had previously said he was focused on returning to full fitness rather than seeking another loan move.

But while ruling out a return to Milan, Beckham now says he hopes to "be going back somewhere" before the new MLS season starts in March.

England's most capped outfield player still hopes to play again for the national team, saying "to do that I have to be somewhere, so fingers crossed I can sort something out."
